Marina Tempelsman, a New York based writer and performer, has co-written three original pilots and a feature screenplay with fellow Disappointment Niccolo Aeed. In the summer of 2010 Marina was a Guest Artist at the Kennedy Center Summer Playwriting Intensive, where she studied with Theresa Rebeck, Marsha Norman, David Ives, Jason Robert Brown, Gary Garrison, and Heather McDonald, among others. After completing the program, she spent a year in France teaching high school English and studying French improvisation. Recent work in television and theater includes internships at Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Second Stage Theatre, and The Working Theater. She currently works at Lion Television, the production company behind the hit show Cash Cab.
Niccolo Aeed is a director and writer based in New York. He has co-written three original pilots and a feature screenplay with fellow Disappointment, Marina Tempelsman. Recent directing credits include The ToyMaker at the West Village Musical Theater Festival, The Value of Empty Boxes (Roy Arias Studios), and Abraham's Daughters (2010 NYC Fringe Festival). He currently writes games and curriculum for an educational software company.
